About The Book
Main Characters
Anthony Micelle: Anthony is the youngest son of Danny Micelle. He is a man who has spent his entire life striving to be like his Father and to earn his Father's approval in life. Anthony's character is strong willed, vengeful, and overall intensely stubborn. These qualities are what bring him through the trials and tribulations that this war throws his way.
Danny Micelle: Danny is the boss of the Italian Mafia as well as the Father of Anthony and his older brother Mikey. Danny is one of the strongest character in this novel, although his character has very few dialogue, actions speak volumes. His demeanour, facial expressions and strong presence are what make Danny Micelle the excellent leader that he is.
Gorvachek: Gorvachek is the leader of the Russian Mafia. His character greatly compares to that of Danny Micelle. They are both very strong men and manage to get any job done when the time arises. Gorvachek however, differs in one way. He is vindictive, evil and power hungry. To achieve his goals, he will stop at nothing and sacrifice whatever it takes. He has no heart, no friends and no mercy.
Secondary Characters
Cynthia: Cynthia is one of the many women that Anthony Micelle courted. She also is the one that stayed with him. She was the love of his life, the woman who got him through his trials, his motivation. Her love for him in return was slightly tainted.
Mikey Micelle: Mikey is the oldest son of Danny Micelle. He appears briefly in the plot of the novel, but when he does appear, extraordinary things happen. Mikey's character is mostly silent, but when he does speak up it is with power and strength.
Angelo: Angelo's character can be seen as devious or admirable. He possesses traits on both sides. He had the strength to be devious, but the heart to be the bigger person. He is easily weakened by the thought of power and wealth, this is his ultimate flaw.
